Preferred Skills: * IBM Certified Systems Expert for IBM i or equivalent certification. * Experience with IBM Power Systems hardware, virtual IO server, and hardware management console administration. * Familiarity with DevOps practices on IBM i including RDi, source control, and continuous integration workflows. * Experience supporting regulated environments such as healthcare, financial services, or public sector organizations. * Prior consulting or client facing experience within managed services or professional services organizations. Tools and Technologies: * IBM i OS 7.x administration * BRMS backup and recovery * DB2 for IBM i and SQL * High availability and disaster recovery solutions * IBM i security and auditing * CL programming and automation * Enterprise job scheduling tools * IBM Access Client Solutions * Collection Services and Performance Tools for IBM i ## Description The Senior IBM i Series IT Administrator will provide senior level administration and operational support for enterprise IBM i environments. This role focuses on platform stability, security, performance, and availability while partnering with application, infrastructure, and client teams. The engagement is expected to begin as a one year contract with the potential to convert to a full time role with the end client based on business needs and performance.
