This contract to hire role is ideal for someone with prior education or non profit industry experience who can balance day-to-day technical troubleshooting with broader oversight of systems, vendors, and a small support team. The role requires a strong service mindset, the ability to communicate effectively with faculty, parents, and school leadership, and the confidence to guide infrastructure-related initiatives while remaining actively involved in technical work. Responsibilities: Provide direct technical support for staff and school users, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner. Oversee daily IT operations while leading and mentoring a small technology team to ensure dependable service delivery. Administer core systems such as Active Directory and device configurations to maintain secure and efficient user access. Coordinate with external vendors and infrastructure partners to support network performance, backups, and broader technology needs. Manage school technology platforms, including an ERP, and help ensure systems are aligned with operational requirements. Track, prioritize, and follow through on support requests using the existing ticketing process to maintain responsiveness and visibility. Support the maintenance and improvement of network, server, and endpoint environments across the campus.
