## About the Role

* Strong understanding of Snowflake architecture and general platform design.
 * Hands-on experience designing, developing, and optimizing Snowflake solutions, including SQL stored procedures, views, performance tuning, and use of Snowflake streams for CDC.
 * Experience using Matillion for ELT pipelines into Snowflake, including orchestration jobs, transformation jobs, variables, connectors, and medallion-based data modeling.
 * Strong analytical and problemsolving skills for diagnosing data integrity and quality issues, pipeline failures, and performance bottlenecks.
 * Strong communication skills for working with crossfunctional teams and clearly articulating complex technical topics.
 * Ability to partner with business analysts and customers to validate results, refine solutions, and ensure business needs are met.
 * Experience with HVR (High Volume Replication) for replicating SAP data sources into Snowflake.

Optional but expected adjacent skills:

 * Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD, and DevOps practices for data pipelines.
 * Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), especially services that integrate with Snowflake or Matillion.
 * Understanding of data modeling concepts (dimensional models, slowly changing dimensions, metadata management).
 * Experience with ERWIN is a plus.
