## About the Role

* Demonstrated experience supporting Windows 11 computers in a professional environment.
 * Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including common Office applications.
 * Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
 * Hands-on experience diagnosing and repairing desktop and laptop hardware.
 * Experience troubleshooting printers, scanners, and other common peripherals.
 * Basic understanding of networking concepts, including Wi-Fi, Ethernet, IP addresses, and connectivity troubleshooting.
 * Excellent communication and customer-service skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users.
 * Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple requests, and work independently.
 * Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
 * Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies.
 * Must have a reliable personal vehicle and the ability to travel between school sites as needed., * Experience working in a school or educational setting.
 * Basic networking knowledge (Wi-Fi, routers, switches).
 * Intune and Google Workspace knowledge.
 * Experience with Active Directory and/or Microsoft Entra ID.
 * Experience working with ticketing/help-desk systems.
 * Relevant IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or equivalent experience.

## Description

We are seeking a dedicated, resourceful IT Technician to support our school's technology needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic educational environment and is passionate about helping staff and students succeed through reliable technology.

What You'll Do

 * Provide technical support for Windows 11 desktops and laptops.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve issues with printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
 * Perform hardware repairs and upgrades on desktops and laptops.
 * Support and maintain Office 365 accounts and applications.
 * Assist teachers and staff with basic tech troubleshooting
 * Maintain inventory of IT equipment and supplies.
 * Collaborate with the IT team and vendors as needed.
 * Assist with equipment moves, technology setups, and deployments between school locations.
 * Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions as needed.
