## Description

This company is building the definitive API for global tax automation. Think complex financial systems, real-time compliance, and a product suite that plugs directly into enterprise operations. You'll join a lean engineering team that owns problems end-to-end, not just features. This is a principal-level seat: you'll co-own the roadmap with product, drive architecture, and operate what you build in production. This isn't a ticket-taker role; it's about setting the technical bar and shipping fast, continuously, and iteratively across the full product lifecycle.

The work

 * Design, build, and operate mission-critical REST APIs that power global tax compliance for enterprises.
 * Take full ownership of products from ideation through delivery, support, and iteration, gaining deep customer insight.
 * Ship across the stack, from backend business logic in Node.js/TypeScript and Go to customer-facing interfaces in ReactJS.
 * Drive architectural decisions and tooling choices, ensuring scalability and reliability in a high-growth environment.
 * Champion a culture of continuous delivery, shipping fast and iteratively while maintaining high quality standards.
