Troubleshooting (Problem Solving), The Client Services team is responsible for Zoox's employee-facing and commonly used IT services. A successful Field Support Services Engineer will have strong time management, interpersonal, and troubleshooting skills. This individual will work with a team of infrastructure engineers, developers, and client service technicians to troubleshoot issues, automate redundant tasks and improve the efficiency of the Client Services team. A Field Support Engineer will be the primary IT support contact for remote sites. As support is for multiple Zoox sites, there will be travel requirements for this role. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide IT hardware/software support for all end user technology while in-person or virtually via ticket/email/slack * Manage support requests and escalations from virtual triage and other onsite support crew * Work collaboratively with other IT teams to support site operations. * Support internal systems and SaaS platforms * Hardware LifeCycle management * Evaluate
and work with team to procure/stock IT hardware (Computers/Mobile devices/Printers) * Identify support trends/requirements and document gaps by creating/updating documentation * Potential travel will be required (80%) * Travel may be weekends/off hours * Car/Air travel likely TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS San Francisco -Based in 1300 Bryant -Site has no employee parking -Parking to be expensed when working out of this site for FS personal car -All other site travel mileage reimbursement to be calculated with 1300 Bryant as home/starting point -No reimbursement for transit from Home to 1300 Bryant -Parking reimbursed as needed -If traveling by air, all expenses to be covered i.e. Flight, Car Rental/Parking, Hotel, Meals, etc. Sites to be supported SF sites -1300/1320 Bryant -2450/2460 Alameda -60 Broadway -61 Oakgrove -465/485 Irwin -640 Cesar Chavez -Altamont - Tracy, CA -TRC-CA - Atwater, CA -Seattle, WA, Linux
