## About the Role

* Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering or related field required.
 * Minimum 1+ years experience mechanical design experience within manufacturing environments.
 * Must have experience with 3D modeling software via SolidWorks and experience with 2D drafting software.
 * Must understand PLCs, Electrical and Controls systems.
 * Must have experience with pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
 * Must have experience writing, reviewing, or approving engineering documents.
 * Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical details internally and with customers.

## Description

Description: This is an exciting direct hire opportunity with a growing and established company. The Design Engineer will take new products from concept through production. This is a hands on design role focused on 3D CAD, detailed drawings, prototyping, testing, systems integration, and manufacturing support. The ideal candidate will have strong SolidWorks experience and a background designing mechanical systems, welded structures, piping, sheet metal, and/or hydraulic and pneumatic systems. This position will also support continuous improvement, troubleshooting, tooling and fixture design, and facility or manufacturing projects as needed.
