This role will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing SAP IBP Demand, Supply & Response, and Inventory Optimization solutions, ensuring they can handle high-volume, exception-driven parts planning scenarios. The consultant will act as a thought leader and change agent, bridging gaps between IBP capabilities and business requirements, and delivering scalable, high-performance planning solutions aligned to enterprise priorities. location: Richardson, Texas job type: Contract salary: $76 - 80 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: 1. IBP Solution Architecture & Implementation · Own technical architecture and design for: o SAP IBP (Demand, Supply & Response, Inventory Optimization) o Integration tools (CPI-DS, SDI, RTI) · Configure and enhance IBP modules to support: o High-volume transaction processing (POs, order lines) o Exception-driven planning workflows · Ensure alignment with enterprise IT strategy and SAP roadmap 2. Requirements Analysis & Gap Resolution · Lead deep-dive sessions on business requirements · (Evaluate: o What IBP can deliver via standard configuration o Where gaps exist vs. business expectations · Provide clear recommendations: o Configuration solutions o Enhancements / workarounds o Alternate approaches where IBP limitations exist 3. Exception-Based Planning & Performance Optimization · Design solutions to support: o Mass exception handling (shortages, excess, supply constraints) o Fast processing of large volumes of POs and planning data · Improve system responsiveness to meet business expectations for speed, throughput, and scalability --- 4.
