## About the Role

We are seeking a Test Lead to drive end-to-end Quality Engineering for E-commerce and Digital platforms. This role will lead QA strategy, execution, and governance across web, mobile, and backend services, operating in a distributed onsite-offshore model. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, hands-on automation experience, and the ability to align QE outcomes with business goals., * 8+ years in Quality Engineering with 2+ years in Test Lead role

 * Strong experience in E-commerce/Digital platforms (high traffic, customer-facing systems)
 * Experience of AI-driven QE or test optimization approaches
 * Hands on AI usage (Claude, similar) in Authoring test cases and building automated test scripts.
 * Hands-on experience in test automation (Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
 * Strong understanding of API testing (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)
 * Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
 * Proven experience managing onsite-offshore delivery models
 * Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
 * Strong knowledge of test management tools (TestRail, Jira, etc.)
 * Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership skills
 * Experience in retail domain (beauty/fashion/e-commerce)

Good to Have

 * Exposure to performance testing and observability tool
 * Experience with service virtualization and contract testing

## Description

* Lead QE efforts across E-commerce (web/mobile) and digital platforms, ensuring high-quality releases
 * Own test strategy, planning, execution, and reporting across multiple PODs/scrum teams
 * Drive onsite-offshore coordination, ensuring seamless communication, prioritization, and delivery
 * Establish and enforce automation-first approach (UI, API, and regression suites)
 * Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Business teams for requirement clarity and test coverage
 * Define and track QE metrics (defect leakage, automation coverage, cycle time, release quality)
 * Ensure CI/CD integration of test suites and quality gates
 * aad defect triage, RCA, and continuous improvement initiatives
 * Support UAT, production validation, and release sign-offs
 * Mentor and guide QA team members across onsite and offshore locations
