## About the Role

Do you have a valid Fundamentals of Engineering license?, Do you have a valid Engineer in Training certification?, Do you have experience in Transportation infrastructure projects?, * Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field from an ABET accredited civil engineering program.

 * Passed FE/EI exam
 * 1-3+ years of relevant roadway design engineering experience
 * Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
 * Strong understanding of design principles and standards
 * Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
 * Strong written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to work individually or as part of a team

## Description

* Prepare preliminary design plans, documents, and specifications under the guidance of senior engineers.
 * Conduct analyses and perform standard computations, drawings, and visual aids for projects.
 * May coordinate work with entry-level engineers, technicians, or other staff.
 * Collaborate with the design team to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
 * Conduct field inspections to gather relevant data and contribute to site assessments.
 * Utilize design software and tools for drafting and modeling.
 * Support the development of cost estimates for projects.
 * Perform quality control self-checks of assigned work.
 * Perform other duties as assigned.
