Highly Preferred

 * CISSP certification
 * Experience within healthcare or regulated environments
 * Knowledge of HIPAA Security Rule, HITRUST, and PCI compliance frameworks, * Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or related field
 * Strong experience with:

Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR)
SIEM tools
Vulnerability management
Active Directory/GPO
Firewalls & VPNs
Linux & Windows administration
MFA & encryption technologies
Threat intelligence and malware analysis

Education:

 * Bachelor's (Required)

## Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Security Analyst to support enterprise cybersecurity operations within a large healthcare environment. This role is responsible for protecting systems, networks, and sensitive data through advanced threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security engineering initiatives., * Research and analyze emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities

 * Conduct log analysis, threat investigations, and network forensic reviews
 * Implement and support enterprise security tools and infrastructure
 * Perform vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis
 * Develop alerting, monitoring, and detection strategies
 * Support incident response and remediation efforts
 * Manage and optimize SIEM, IDS/IPS, VPN, endpoint protection, and firewall technologies
 * Ensure compliance with HIPAA, NIST, HITRUST, PCI, and other security frameworks
 * Collaborate with technical teams to strengthen overall security posture
 * Provide guidance and mentorship on security best practices and tools
