We're looking for a Senior .NET Core Engineer who's excited about modern engineering practices - especially AI-augmented development - and wants to build scalable, high-quality systems on Azure., * Deep experience with .NET Core, C#, Web API, and modern application design. * Strong understanding of architecture, design patterns, REST principles, and scalable system design. * Experience with Azure and cloud-native development. * Working knowledge of SQL Server or NoSQL data stores. * Familiarity with modern front-end tech (Angular, TypeScript, HTML/CSS) is helpful but not required. * Experience using AI coding assistants and a willingness to make them part of your daily workflow. * Strong problem-solving skills and comfort working in an agile team environment. * Sustainability or energy-sector experience is a plus, but not required., * Experience with Kubernetes or containerized services * Unit testing and mocking frameworks (e.g., Moq) * Data modeling expertise * SOA or microservices experience ## Description * Build and enhance SaaS applications used by global customers to track, analyze, and optimize energy and sustainability performance. * Design and develop .NET Core-based services, APIs, integrations, and backend systems. * Work closely with architects and cross-functional teams to design clean, scalable solutions. * Use AI coding assistants (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, etc.) throughout the SDLC - from design and prototyping to code generation, testing, documentation, and refactoring. * Help shape best practices for AI-assisted engineering, including prompt techniques and quality controls. * Integrate and process sustainability-related data across various systems and services. * Build cloud-ready, resilient solutions using Azure services (Functions, Service Bus, App Insights, Data Factory, etc.). * Write maintainable, high-quality C# code and participate in code reviews. * Stay current with emerging tech - especially new AI tools - and help bring them into our workflow.
