## Description

Safar Staffing is seeking an experienced Legacy Systems Programmer specializing in IBM iSeries/AS400 environments.
We are particularly interested in senior professionals with extensive experience maintaining, enhancing, troubleshooting, and modernizing business-critical IBM i applications., * Maintain complex legacy IBM iSeries applications

 * Develop and enhance RPG/RPGLE programs

 * Maintain CL/CLLE scripts and processes

 * Work with DB2 for i and SQL

 * Analyze existing legacy code

 * Troubleshoot complex production issues

 * Support batch jobs, job queues, interfaces, and scheduled processing

 * Develop integrations between legacy and modern systems

 * Participate in legacy-system modernization initiatives

 * Document applications, business logic, and technical processes
