This role will be responsible for individual and team assignments to implement automation and robotic technologies with a focus on manufacturing and Kaizen principles., * Manufacturing Engineering Projects: + Assist with revising and validating products for manufacturability and automation utilization. + Assist with design and implementation of automation and robotics equipment with a focus on electronics assembly. + Assess product construction and materials for internal and external process acceptability. + Support implementation of Engineering Change Orders. * Basic ECO (Engineering Change Orders) tasks: + Drawing revisions + BOM revisions + Revise/Release of documentation o Work Instructions o Work Order Routers + Assist in drafting and execution of test protocols for process validation. * Gemba/Kaizen Actions: + Automation utilization through design/documentation changes. + Reduce process changeover through product consolidation. + Defect reduction, error proofing in Surface Mount Technology and robotics work cells.
