## About the Role

* Strong hands-on experience in C#/.NET development, ideally within mature and evolving software systems
 * Solid knowledge of databases and SQL, with a good understanding of data structures and their impact on application design
 * Experience with TDD, performance optimization, and writing clean, maintainable, and well-structured code
 * A genuine curiosity to understand how systems work, why they have evolved the way they have, and where their inherent risks and constraints lie - mindset matters more to us than expertise in any single technology
 * A holistic approach to software engineering, thinking beyond individual classes, features, or tickets and considering the system as a whole
 * Confidence in constructively challenging requirements, assumptions, and existing technical approaches
 * Enthusiasm for modern AI-assisted development tools, combined with the ability to critically evaluate their output and take full ownership of generated code
 * A strong sense of when a problem calls for better architecture or clearer requirements rather than simply more code
 * Very good command of either German or English
