## About the Role

+ Strong oral communication skills in Dutch & English; team language is English
 + Strong writing and documentation skills, so you are able to create clear, reusable technical guidance for other teams
 + Ability to present ideas, solutions, and platform improvements clearly, to different audiences (considered a strong advantage)
 + Collaborative mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
Technical skills:

 + IT development background - e.g., Java, JavaScript, CSS, Widgets, React, DevOps / pipelines, Docker, AI, CI/CD, etc.
 + Experience with web application development concepts (frontend/backend, APIs/REST)
 + Mendix experience, including e.g. Menditect, QSM, Mendix SDK, Mendix CLI, or similar
You don't need all of these technical skills, but at least some, in line with your experience.

## Description

To ensure that we assess all candidates equally for suitability for this position, we do not require a mandatory cover letter. Instead, we ask all candidates the same questions to see how your profile matches the role. Please pay sufficient attention to answering these questions and explaining your answers; together with your CV, these responses form the basis for our evaluation in this round. Submitting both a CV and answers to the three questions is the minimum requirement to be considered in the selection process. A cover letter is not mandatory but may be submitted optionally.
You may draw on your work experience, volunteer work, education, private life, and so on. Use a maximum of 200 words per question and provide no more than two examples. Below are the questions:

 + How do you approach solving a technical problem that impacts multiple teams?
 + How does component quality relate to working in a platform team, and what effects do you see it would have on the DevOps process
 + How do you ensure your work is understandable and reusable for others (e.g. documentation, communication)?
 + What is your current stance on AI and the future of Mendix, and what steps should we take as Mendix Platform Team?
