Data Engineering * Experience designing and implementing scalable data solutions on GCP. * Strong understanding of data ingestion patterns. * Experience with data transformation and orchestration. * Strong understanding of modern data platform architectures. * Experience building production-grade data pipelines. Messaging & Streaming * Strong experience with Apache Kafka. * Experience with Kafka platform design, administration, and setup. * Understanding of event-driven architectures. Databases * Hands-on experience with Google Bigtable. * Experience with Bigtable design and implementation. * Experience with Bigtable performance tuning and operations. Development * Strong development skills in Scala and/or Java. * Experience developing production-grade applications. * Experience developing production-grade data pipelines. Additional Requirements * Ability to perform and contribute to technical design reviews. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work closely with Data Engineers and Product Teams. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a technical team., The ideal candidate is a hands-on GCP Data Engineer with a strong combination of cloud platform engineering and data engineering expertise. They should be comfortable working across the full data platform stack-from GCP infrastructure and Terraform through CI/CD, Kafka streaming, Bigtable, and application/data-pipeline development in Scala or Java. Experience with technical architecture and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and product stakeholders will be highly valued. ## Description We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong Google Cloud Platform (GCP) expertise to design, develop, and operate scalable cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong GCP cloud and platform engineering, modern data engineering, Apache Kafka, Google Bigtable, and Scala/Java development skills.
