## About the Role

You'll be able to participate into projects involving several engineers. Yes, you'll have the opportunity to support other engineers.

 - You'll be able to contribute to hiring your future coworkers and shape candidates' hiring experience (improving our technical assessment process etc...)
You would be a good fit at The Hokus Platform if most of this sounds like you:

 + Experience working with Smalltalk or as software engineer for the life insurance sector is required.
 + Hands-on experience working with technologies.
 + Strong analytical skills
 + Team spirit
 + Experience with test-driven development and automated testing frameworks.
 + Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies.
 + Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
 + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
 + Master's degree in engineering, PHD Degree in science or equivalent experience.
 + English fluent: working language.
 + French or Italian is a plus.

## Description

Our growing Engineering team is looking for Software Engineers to help deliver the next generation of our platform.
If you are an IT passionate, love coding (in any object-oriented language) and finding solutions to complex problems, please reach out. Our multi-cultural team is eager to welcome new innovative persons.

 + Analyse, design and develop tests to build robust new features in an agile environment.
 + Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing and new systems and platforms.
 + Collaborate cross-functionally with data scientists, business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
 + Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
 + Work alongside other engineers/scientists on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
