An MSc in Telecommunications, Satellite Communications or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Four years of experience in telecommunications, satellite communications or a similar field.
Knowledge of cellular networks, satellite communications, ground stations or network architecture.
Experience with end-to-end communication system design and integration.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Linux, coding and scripting, embedded systems, hardware platforms, satellite-enabled 5G and 6G.

## Description

This permanent Satellite Systems Engineer position in Aylesbury involves designing and integrating terrestrial and satellite communication networks for next-generation connectivity. Working with an engineering team, the successful candidate supports technical projects covering 5G, 6G and satellite-enabled systems. Responsibilities include developing telecoms infrastructure, combining components with embedded hardware, and resolving complex engineering problems. Collaboration with external businesses, universities and research bodies forms part of the work, alongside contributing to technical proposals.
