You will be confident using the full Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. Strong Excel skills are particularly important, with experience of working with spreadsheets, formulas, filtering, sorting, data validation and producing reports and dashboards. The ability to interpret data, identify trends and present information clearly to a variety of audiences will be key to success in the role. As Electronic Monitoring continues to evolve, this is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with data, have strong attention to detail, and are motivated by using information to support better outcomes across a nationally important service. ## Description The growth of Electronic Monitoring (EM) as a tool within the Criminal Justice system, to protect the public and support the supervision of offenders in the community continues to drive expansion across the service. The current caseload of individuals being monitored is in excess of 28,000 though forecast to rise to 40,000 over the next 3 years. With increasing caseloads, the introduction of new monitoring technologies and evolving service requirements, the Electronic Monitoring team is expanding. As part of this growth, new Analyst Support Officer posts are being introduced within the Electronic Monitoring Contract Management permanent team structure. These roles will provide essential analytical and administrative support to help ensure the service delivers high-quality assurance and management information. Working as part of a developing team, you will contribute to the collection, validation, analysis and reporting of data, helping colleagues to make informed decisions and drive service improvements. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate records and information systems, producing regular reports and management information, identifying emerging trends, and supporting the delivery of payment, performance and operational assurance activities across the service. You will work closely with a range of internal and external stakeholders, responding to information requests and ensuring data is accurate, reliable and presented in a meaningful way., The MoJ offers Hybrid Working arrangements where business need allows. This is an informal, non-contractual form of flexible working that blends working from your base location, different MoJ sites and / or from home (please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas). Some roles will not be suitable for Hybrid Working. Similarly, Hybrid Working will not suit everyone's circumstances. Arrangements will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate(s) and subject to regular review. For nationally advertised roles, the successful candidate(s) will be appointed to a MoJ office location, which may include their nearest Justice Collaboration Centre or Justice Satellite Office. This will be discussed and agreed on the completion of pre-employment checks. Some of MoJ's terms and conditions of service are changing as part of Civil Service reform. The changes will apply to staff joining MoJ who are new to the Civil Service. Staff joining MoJ from other civil service employers will transfer onto the new MoJ terms if they are already on 'modernised' terms in their current post or onto 'unmodernised' MoJ terms if they are on 'unmodernised' terms at their current post. Details will be available if an offer is made. Standard full time working hours are 37 hours per week excluding breaks which are unpaid. HMPPS welcomes part-time, flexible and job-sharing working patterns, where they meet the demands of the role and business needs.
