We will explain what is involved before anything happens. ## Description * Being a first point of contact for colleagues who need help, and seeing problems through to a proper resolution rather than a workaround * Assisting around the office with all tech related setup and issues * Setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting Macs, and learning how we manage them centrally through Jamf * Handling day-to-day account and access work across Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace - new starters, leavers, permissions and licences * Learning to automate: turning tasks you've done manually a few times into scripts, with support from the team * Keeping our documentation and asset records accurate, so the whole team can move faster * Getting involved in wider projects - security, networking, AI tooling, internal tools - as your confidence grows We'd love to talk to you if you: * Are genuinely curious about how technology works and tend to pull things apart to find out - a home lab, a Raspberry Pi project, a self-hosted setup or just a long history of fixing family laptops all count * Can explain something technical to someone non-technical without making them feel stupid. This matters more than any tool knowledge. * Are organised and follow through - a lot of this job is holding several small things at once and not dropping any of them * Have some exposure to scripting or code, or the appetite to learn it properly * Use AI tools with a bit of curiosity and scepticism rather than treating the output as gospel * Care about doing things properly, and are comfortable saying "I don't know yet, but I'll find out" What we'll offer you: We trust people to do their best work.
