## About the Role

* Hands-on experience with virtualisation and on-premises server infrastructure (VMware ESXi or similar).
 * Strong, proven experience with Linux.
 * Experience with configuration management / infrastructure-as-code (Ansible, Terraform or similar).
 * Experience with logging and monitoring stacks (ELK or similar).
 * Understanding of containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes or similar).
 * Good grasp of security concepts, including vulnerability management and certificate/PKI lifecycle.
 * Experience with git and artifact repositories (Nexus or similar).
 * Willingness to travel to our Dublin data centre as required.
 * Strong communication skills and comfort working autonomously.
 * Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.

Nice to have

 * Experience administering public cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure or similar) at scale.
 * Scripting ability (Python, Bash or similar).
 * Exposure to cloud cost optimisation / FinOps practices.
 * Experience in a regulated or security-sensitive industry (telecoms, SIM/eSIM or similar).
 * Familiarity with ITIL or similar change/incident management processes.
