## About the Role

* Completed Master's degree or Diplom in computer science or aerospace engineering
 * More than three years of professional experience in IT or information systems
 * More than three years of professional experience in aerospace
 * Proven experience in embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications is required
 * Experience with C/C++ and/or Ada and real-time operating systems, such as VxWorks, is required
 * Familiarity with avionics standards, such as ARINC 653 and DO-178C, and safety-critical software development
 * Experience with virtualization technologies, including resource segregation and drivers
 * Knowledge of x86, ARM and RISC-V hardware architectures
 * Experience with CI/CD methodologies
 * English at least at negotiation level
 * German language skills are an advantage
 * Self-reliant and systematic working style
 * Ability to work in an international team
 * Strong communication, networking and teamwork skills

## Description

We are looking for a Software Developer and Architect specializing in embedded avionics software. The focus is on the development and integration of real-time, safety-critical embedded systems for aerospace applications.

Your tasks

 * Design, develop and maintain embedded avionics software for aerospace systems
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and systems engineers, to ensure seamless software integration into avionics systems
 * Ensure compliance with aviation standards, such as DO-178C and DO-254, and safety-critical software-development practices
 * Perform hardware-based mission-system integration activities for various projects
 * Test, validate and verify software in accordance with aerospace requirements
