## About the Role

* Experience in a software engineering role (ideally C#/.NET, but also Python, Node.js, Powershell or Bash)
 * Experience with cloud (ideally AWS) and infrastructure as code (ideally Terraform)
 * Strong communication skills
 * Hands-on experience of AI tools and knowledge of AI practices

Desirable:

 * Experience with Kubernetes and related technologies (Linux/Docker)
 * Knowledge of observability and monitoring tools
 * Understanding of security principles and best practices
 * An enthusiasm to learn different technologies and adapt to an evolving industry

## Description

We're looking for a talented Platform Engineer to join our Platform Team at Spreadex.

You will be responsible for building and operating the platform that underpins our award-winning trading platforms, alongside the tools and services that support the efficient workflows of our Software Engineers, allowing them to develop, build, test and deploy applications.

We embrace the opportunities enabled by AI and are looking to improve our tools and processes to better utilise and support our developers and AI agents. The Platform Team play a central role in designing and developing these tools.

We use a diverse range of technologies to operate the platform - AWS, Linux, Kubernetes, Kafka, Redis/Valkey, HAProxy, Consul, Grafana, OpenSearch, Terraform and more.

We also use a wide range of development tools/languages - C#/.NET, Node.js, Python, Azure DevOps Pipelines, ArgoCD
