You should have: * Significant experience building and scaling production software systems. * Strong knowledge of backend engineering, APIs, databases, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture. * Experience making architecture decisions across multiple products or engineering teams. * Strong technical judgment and the ability to challenge technical decisions at the implementation level. * Experience building and leading high-performing engineering organizations. * Experience hiring and assessing exceptional technical talent. * Strong understanding of modern cloud platforms and engineering practices. * Experience with AI/ML, generative AI, automation, or AI-enabled products is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with founders, executives, engineers, and other stakeholders. * A hands-on mindset-you should be comfortable reviewing architecture, code, incidents, and difficult technical problems directly. ## Description The CTO will own the Group's overall technology strategy and help determine how technology can create competitive advantage across its businesses and platforms. You will work closely with senior leadership to define the technology roadmap, evaluate emerging technologies, establish engineering standards, and build the technical organization required for long-term growth. This is not a purely strategic or administrative CTO role.
