Job Description: Safety-Critical Control Systems Engineer

Join our innovative team to develop and integrate safety-critical control systems for unmanned and optionally manned ground vehicles. Contribute to systems engineering activities, and support the development of embedded controls software, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful vehicle program execution.

Responsibilities

 * Develop and integrate safety-critical control systems for unmanned and optionally manned ground vehicles.
 * Support systems engineering activities, including requirements development, system architecture, SysML modeling, and software integration.
 * Develop, test, and troubleshoot embedded controls software using C/C++, Simulink, and vehicle communication networks such as CAN Bus and Ethernet.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to support prototype and production vehicle programs, including validation, supplier testing, and customer support.

Essential Skills

 * Proficiency in systems engineering, C/C++, Simulink, and electric vehicle technologies.
 * Experience with Systems Engineering processes and SysML tools (Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw).
 * Vehicle control system development experience (on-road, off-highway, or defense vehicles).
 * Safety-critical software/systems development experience (MIL-STD-882E, IEC, UL 4600).
