As a department in Mecklenburg County's Health and Human Services Agency, CSS maximizes community partnerships and collaborative opportunities to improve access to services and advocate for the needs of special populations. Position Specific Information This position serves as the community staff lead for the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Continuum of Care (CoC). It is the key liaison between the community and the U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). This position is responsible for coordination of program activities outlined in the HUD CoC Program Interim Rule: the HUD CoC Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) application process, leading the annual Point In Time (PIT) count and NCDHHS Emergency Solutions grant application process. This position oversees CoC governance updating documents such as CoC governing charter and written standards. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining community partnerships, providing technical assistance to and monitoring of partner agencies, facilitating community meetings and coordinating communication to stakeholders.
