## About the Role

To be eligible for participation in the GPTLHB Clinical Rotation Program, students must:

 * Be enrolled in, or accepted for enrollment in, an accredited college, university, technical school, or professional program and maintain at least half-time student status. Recent graduates may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
 * Maintain a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher.
 * Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills appropriate for a clinical learning environment.
 * Comply with all program requirements and GPTLHB policies, procedures, confidentiality standards, and professional conduct expectations.
 * Demonstrate basic proficiency in technology necessary to complete educational and clinical activities, including:
 + Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

## Description

Students selected for a clinical rotation may be required to complete additional onboarding and compliance requirements before beginning their placement, including:

 * Background screening;
 * Drug screening;
 * Required immunization and health clearance documentation; including most recent COVID-19
 * HIPAA and confidentiality training;
 * Organizational orientation and mandatory training; and
 * Other requirements as determined by GPTLHB, the academic institution, or the clinical placement site.
