## About the Role

* 1+ year of hands-on experience with laptop and desktop break-fix.
 * Must have a reliable personal vehicle and valid car insurance.
 * Computer-building experience is preferred.
 * General knowledge of laptop and desktop hardware and software.
 * Basic knowledge of Microsoft applications.
 * Ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic, non-complex technical issues.
 * Must be able to travel within the assigned service area.
 * Client and/or government clearance may be required.
 * Police or criminal background verification may be required.

Important Requirement

Candidates must have their own reliable car and car insurance.

## Description

* Repair and troubleshoot laptops and desktop computers.
 * Replace hard drives, motherboards, keyboards, and other components.
 * Perform whole-unit computer swaps when needed.
 * Repair or replace PC peripherals.
 * Travel throughout the metro and surrounding areas to complete service requests.
 * Close service tickets in real time using the Unisys Call Management system and a company-provided phone.
 * Provide professional and timely customer service while completing assigned repairs.
