Responds to queries, runs diagnostic programs, isolates problem, and determines and implements solution. Conduct corporate training sessions to enhance staff effectiveness., * Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs. * Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company's network software whenever a new update is available. * Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company's network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem. * Staying up to date with new network technology and reporting this information to the executive team each quarter * Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company's network, * Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative * Enable faster and smarter business processes and implement analytics for meaningful insights * Lead remediation efforts for gaps in security and networking * Migrate legacy servers/applications to modern solutions * Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration * Nurture dependable IT infrastructure and networking that's always up and running * Partner with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievements * Track and maintain hardware and software inventory * Documents internal processes and procedures related to duties and responsibilities * Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly * Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments * Perform routine/scheduled audits of the systems, including all backups * Support and administer remote locations and employees. ## Related Videos - [One Platform Could Not Fit Them All](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1919-one-platform-could-not-fit-them-all) - [Is your backend a hodgepodge of queues, event stores and cron jobs?
