Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # SAP ISU AMI Solution Architect - **Company:** HCL America Inc. - **Location:** Jersey City, NJ, United States - **Experience:** Expert - **Salary:** $189,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), Cloud Computing, Software Debugging, Meter Data Management (Flow Meters), SAP (Applications), SAP HANA, SAP IS-U, Systems Integration, Web Services, SAP Application Management Services, SAP Business Technology Platform, Backend, Information Technology, SAP S/4HANA, E-books - **Published:** September 11, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.thejobnetwork.com/job/5827ab43-7fec-434e-a398-74a1979a8356/sap-isu-ami-solution-architect ## About the Role HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated SAP ISU AMI Solution Architect to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity., * Bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in computer science, engineering, finance or business administration * Minimum 15 years of experience in SAP supporting utility industry clients. * Strong experience (at least 10-15 years) in implementing SAP solutions with focus on DM/EDM/AMI and support for TOU and complex billing preferably across various roles (business analyst, lead consultant, lead (solution) architect, project manager) * Minimum of 10 years of SAP AMI and other MDMS vendor products implementation, integration, and development experience. * Solid experience in driving the execution of business transformation via implementation of new processes and supporting technology. * Strong overall holistic understanding and experience across functional domains, business processes, applications, SAP product roadmap and emerging technologies & trends * Sufficient knowledge across relevant technical domains (cloud, infrastructure, HANA DB, basis, security, integrations, development etc.) * Entrepreneurial mindset: Independent, proactive, self-motivated and self-driven, collaborative, client-oriented * Ability to build relationships and to become a trusted advisor for client senior stakeholders (VP and CXO levels) * Ability to articulate a compelling vision and engage audience. * Extremely strong communication skills and work very closely with the Business to gather new requirements, resolve production issues and drive more value on their investment. * Good understanding of SAP MDM capabilities vs. Itron, L+G, Siemens MDMS products. * Experience in AMI customizing and BAdIs is a must * Familiar with the standard APIs exposed by SAP AMI. * Familiar with Integration between AMI and other meter reading systems and S/4HANA using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) * Strong debugging and problem-solving skills in SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI), S/4 and/or ECC, and CRM * Preferred Skills - SAP IS-U Certified ## Description Ability to walk through Device Management and AMI (Advanced Metering Infrastructure) Business processes with the client and possess strong end to end integration testing and configuration for AMI.
