**Published:** September 11, 2026 - **Apply:** https://www.thejobnetwork.com/job/e149b02c-73f0-49d8-ba12-8ab5a8651f24/senior-sap-abap-consultant ## About the Role Level 5 years of SAP ABAP Development Experience, * Experience as an ABAP Developer or Sr Development with minimum of 5 years of hands-on core SAP ABAP development and/or SAP Fiori UI5 experience. \n * Need to have a strong understanding of Finance based SAP design and process flows around GL Account based Journal entry postings, Invoice creation and posting, Accounts Payable and Receivable process, Revenue Recognition and the use of substitution user-exit's \n * Knowledge of underlying SAP FI S$ HANA Table structures and fields \n * Awareness of common API's, BAPI's and Function Modules in the FI area related to financial postings, currency calculation, tax determination, payment runs, bank statements etc \n * Experience with S4/HANA migration initiatives and exposure to BTP integration/side-by-side RAP programming model. \n * Ability to complete High Level Technical Design and suggest best practices in line with Clean Core Principles \n * Confirmed ability using BADI's, BAPI's, LSMW, ALE, RFC calls, IDOC, BDC, business objects, classes and methods, Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPScripts, Data Dictionary, ALV, PDF-Based Print Forms with SAP S/4HANA. \n * Strong ABAP debugging skills \n, * Knowledge of OData development using CDS and AMDP, Workflow experience, including support and debugging \n * Knowledge and awareness of SAP Clean Core principles including use of released API's, in app extensibility options and key user extensibility. \n * Knowledge of 4-Tier extensibility model and SAP RAP (Restful ABAP) and CAP (Cloud Application) Programming Models \n * Experience in migrating custom code base from ECC or SOH systems onto a S/4 HANA platform, applying both Technical remediation and Clean Core frameworks \n * Implementation knowledge on Native SQL, ADBC, External View, ABAP Core data Services, AMDP Procedures, Text Search, ALV on HANA. \n * Practical experience in creating custom and enhance standard CDS view and AMDP class based on business requirement, various available annotation in CDS views. \n * Good knowledge on other new SAP technologies such as Fiori SAPUI5, SAP BTP Integration Suite, SAP Business Application Studio, SAP Build etc \n, * Practical Knowledge of Code Performance Rules and Guidelines for SAP HANA \n * Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills \n * Possess interpersonal skills to engage and collaborate in a team environment. ## Description As a Software Engineer (SAP) in the Record-to-Report (RTR area) we expect this developer to participate in project ABAP Build and development activities to support the successful business adoption of the new solution. ## Related Videos -
