Or equivalent combination of education and experience. * Proficient understanding of SQL Server and Azure SQL environments. * Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment., * Proven analytical and problem-solving skills. * Understanding and ability to troubleshoot system interfaces/integrations, data extracts or translations. * Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively contribute to multiple projects in an efficient manner. * Ability to write and understand technical documentation. * Ability to manage a high volume of details with excellent accuracy. * Proven track record meeting targets, objectives, and deliverables. * Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional peers. * Results oriented with a history of problem resolution and prevention. * Handle sensitive/confidential matters professionally. * Ability to communicate effectively with business and IT technical teams. * Flexible and adaptable regarding learning and understanding new technologies. * Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. * Ability to conduct research into software-related issues and products. * Highly self-motivated and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Keen attention to detail. * Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. * Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously. ## Description The Application Engineer role is to implement and maintain vendor provided ticketing software applications across all Parks. This includes installation and implementation as well as troubleshooting while providing day-to-day support to existing software applications. The Application Engineer will set up and maintain system administration and configuration of software systems. * Provide day-to-day application support on software systems at all Parks Technology locations. This includes after hours, weekends and on-call support. * Troubleshoot, analyze logs, replicate errors, determine root cause, and communicate findings. Liaise with other technical teams to assist in resolving problems with software products and/or configuration of hardware components. * Build and maintain software system configuration of supported applications while adhering to defined standards. * Attend meetings with business partners and vendors to communicate strategies, deployments, and troubleshooting issues. * Design, run and monitor test cases on new and existing applications for the purpose of correcting errors, isolating areas for improvement and general debugging. * Create and maintain application documentation for all software applications including evolving processes. Provide knowledge transfer and onboarding for members of the team. * Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDX policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities. * Perform other duties as assigned. * Consistent attendance is a job requirement. ## Related Videos - [You’re a great coder?
