This role is critical to our data ecosystem, supporting the ingestion, validation, and analysis of complex financial and annuity data received from third-party administrators (TPAs), banks, custodians, and other financial counterparties. The ideal candidate brings a rare blend of financial acumen, investigative curiosity, and technical skill - someone who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and data systems. WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Data Ingestion & Management - Receive, process, and manage data files from TPAs, banks, custodians, and other external financial partners, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness * Annuity & Accounting File Processing - Work extensively with annuity administration data and accounting files; understand their structure, content, and downstream implications * Data Investigation & Root Cause Analysis - Apply strong investigative skills to identify data anomalies, reconciliation breaks, and discrepancies; trace issues to their source and drive resolution * Cross-Functional Collaboration - Serve as a key liaison between Accounting, Actuarial, and Technology teams, translating business requirements into data solutions and vice versa * SQL Querying & Analysis - Write and maintain SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data; support ad hoc analysis requests from finance and actuarial teams * Data Quality & Controls - Establish and monitor data quality checks and controls; document data lineage and transformation logic * Reporting Support - Assist in the preparation of data feeds and summaries supporting financial statements, actuarial valuations, and regulatory reporting * Process Improvement - Identify opportunities to automate or streamline data workflows, reducing manual effort and error risk, This is a full-time position.
