## About the Role

* Support existing Java/Eclipse/WebSphere application
 * Perform software development, testing, and provide support in all phases of the software lifecycle.
 * Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience.
 * Oracle Database development experience (PL/SQL scripting, SLQ optimization)
 * C/C++ Development
 * UNIX/Linux experience (Shell scripting)
 * Perl scripting
 * Windows experience
 * Ability to perform analysis and design.
 * In depth knowledge of software engineering techniques and concepts.
 * Good oral and written communication skills.
 * Must be able to work independently or coordinate as part of a development team with other software engineers.
 * Knowledge of computer data-structures and algorithms
 * Software quality assurance experience
 * Ability to provide support to issues in production

## Description

Our federal client is looking to hire an Oracle Database Developer at their offices in Merrifield, VA. This is a long-term (12 months, renewable) contract that allows for one day a week remote work. The position is on a contract to hire basis and will pay an annual salary of $100K to $125K (dependent on experience) on a W2 basis with full benefits and PTO.
