We would like you to be a key member of a strategic, skilled, results-oriented team of technology professionals. The role involves broad responsibility for maintaining, building, and enhancing Data Engineering and the Data Development Lifecycle for different areas of Black and Veatch. Duties include monitoring, optimization, automation, data maintenance, and support. The Senior Data Engineer should be an experienced technologist experienced in working with large and small volumes of data with hands-on data development and a deep understanding of the Data lifecycle., * BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or other Quantitative or Technology field. * Be proficient with SQL(Oracle, Microsoft, Postgres, etc…) * Experience developing ETL solutions using Python(or other scripting language) * Familiarity with code management using Git or similar technology * Understand the Data Lifecyle * Demonstrated knowledge of one of these cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud), * Be accurate and deliver quality. Have a "roll up your sleeves and dive in" attitude. * Excellent, collaborative team player with communication skills to match. * Adaptable and flexible in meeting demands. You are relentless and passionate to get the job done. * Proactive - you take responsibility and own the solution within a collaborative team environment. * Work well under pressure and thrive in a demanding environment.
