This is an opportunity to shape how security is designed, implemented, and governed across a complex, global technology environment. You'll partner closely with infrastructure, cloud, application, data, and business teams to bring a security-by-design mindset to technology decisions - while also helping define the organization's long-term security architecture strategy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both big-picture architecture and hands-on technical problem solving, and who is excited about emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and agentic systems. What You'll Do * Define and continuously improve the organization's Security Architecture operating model, including engagement processes, services, and integration with technology delivery teams * Develop forward-looking security roadmaps aligned with business priorities, technology strategy, risk, and the evolving threat landscape * Establish and govern enterprise security standards, architectural principles, reference architectures, and reusable security patterns * Evaluate emerging technologies - including AI/ML and agentic systems - and develop appropriate security controls, governance, and risk-management approaches * Partner with technology teams during architecture reviews, solution design, technology selection, and major initiatives to embed security early in the lifecycle * Provide security architecture expertise across cloud, infrastructure, networking, applications, data, and identity * Assess proposed architectures and solutions against enterprise security standards, risk tolerance, and architectural requirements * Provide technical leadership around security tooling, integration, coverage, and enterprise capabilities * Help identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to scale security architecture activities, including design analysis, documentation, and architecture reviews * Maintain awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements such as PCI, SOX, GDPR, and CCPA * Serve as a trusted Security Architecture SME for senior technology and business stakeholders Why This Opportunity? This is more than a traditional security architecture role. You'll have the opportunity to define architecture standards, influence enterprise technology strategy, modernize security practices, and help shape the organization's approach to emerging technologies. If you're a Security Architect who wants to operate at both the strategic and technical levels, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful enterprise-wide impact. ## Related Videos - [You can’t hack what you can’t see](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/41-you-can-t-hack-what-you-can-t-see) - [Thinking Differently - How to Make Money from Cyber Attacks & Cheats](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/745-thinking-differently-how-to-make-money-from-cyber-attacks-cheats) - [Developer Tools for Microsoft Azure](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/450-developer-tools-for-microsoft-azure) - [Architectures that we can use with .NET](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/935-architectures-that-we-can-use-with-net) - [Security Pitfalls for Software Engineers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/726-security-pitfalls-for-software-engineers) - [Cyber Security: Small, and Large!](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/259-cyber-security-small-and-large) ## Related Articles - [Events like RSAC Get You CISOs.
