B.S. or M.S. Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience 9. 10+ years work experience building and securing enterprise-scale infrastructure software and services 10. 8+ years work experience authoring code in Python, PHP, Java, Ruby, Go, Rust, C/C++ (or similar language) 11. Experience fixing infrastructure security problems across broad corporate boundaries using influence and relationships 12. Experience in designing, analyzing, improving efficiency, scalability, and stability distributed systems and conducting threat model assessment of infrastructure software and services 13. Experience owning a particular component, feature or system Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: 14. Broad knowledge of the security domain, which might include security investigations, incident management, digital forensics, offensive security, vulnerability management, product security, and much more 15. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) 16. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) 17. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies 18. Experience making contributions to the security or privacy community (public research, blogging, presentations, etc.) ## Description Product Security is looking for Security Engineers to provide technical leadership across multiple large problem spaces (web security, AI security). You will be working closely with product teams and partner security organizations to define strategy, build security tooling, and ship secure-by-design product functionality for our agentic products and family of apps., 1. Author code and conduct code reviews in: Python, PHP, Java, Ruby, Go, Rust, C/C++ (or similar language) 2. Influence and align the organization's vision and strategy, while engaging our teams to develop and deliver specific, multi-year roadmaps, programs, and projects. Ensure prioritization, resourcing, and timely delivery of this work within a changing business environment 3. Conceive, design, and develop scalable, reliable security products, systems and/or frameworks. Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of the existing security systems and frameworks 4. Identify and prioritize areas of improvement to the security maturity across Meta. Improve the security maturity at scale by directly designing, implementing, and building solutions 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security maturity work is being prioritized and addressed 6. Eliminate classes of security problems by shifting the detection and preventions left into the development workflow. Provide architectural, design, and threat-based guidance to software development teams to improve the security maturity before code is written 7.
