## About the Role

Required:

 * Bachelor's degree
 * Minimum of two years of experience in teaching and learning, curriculum development, or instructional design

Preferred:

 * Master's degree
 * Experience with online learning environments

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

 * Demonstrated ability to translate complex content into engaging, accessible learning materials.
 * Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and human-centered design.
 * Experience with D2L Brightspace (or ability to quickly become proficient).
 * Familiarity with Quality Matters standards.
 * Experience with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate.
 * Strong visual design and multimedia skills (e.g., Canva, Camtasia, Illustrator).
 * Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
 * Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and exercise sound judgment.
 * Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.

## Description

* Provide ongoing support to SMEs in integrating innovative teaching strategies and technologies to enhance student learning.
 * Review courses at various stages of development to ensure alignment with curriculum and program outcomes, accreditation standards, copyright and federal compliance requirements, and internal quality benchmarks.
 * Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and quality expectations.
 * Collaborate with the Learning Team to design and deliver orientations, trainings, and workshops informed by research and university data (as requested and appropriate).
 * Develop job aids, exemplars, and resources to support effective course design.
 * Strengthen instructors' ability to effectively utilize the University's LMS across campuses and modalities.
 * Conduct course reviews and analysis to support continuous improvement and assessment processes.
