Desired Qualifications * Relevant certifications in AWS, DevOps, cloud engineering, or related technologies. * Experience with the Atlassian Tool Suite, including Jira and Confluence. * Experience managing and supporting systems hosted within AWS or other virtualized/cloud environments. * Experience with infrastructure-as-code and automation technologies such as Terraform and Ansible. * Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker. * Experience supporting Linux and Windows environments. ## Description * Assess existing capabilities and identify opportunities to expand DevOps adoption and transition applications and systems into cloud environments. * Analyze existing systems to identify data migration, software modification, security, legal, and compliance requirements associated with cloud transformation. * Collaborate with System Administrators to plan, prioritize, and coordinate technical activities supporting cloud migration and ongoing system operations. * Use Ansible and other automation and configuration management tools to streamline system administration, deployment, and operational processes. * Plan, test, and deploy system security patches, kernel updates, and software upgrades using established patch and configuration management tools. * Support the design, development, and testing of software modifications required for cloud migration. * Develop, test, and coordinate deployment plans for application and infrastructure changes within cloud environments. * Apply cloud engineering best practices to improve system performance, reliability, automation, scalability, and resource utilization. * Support Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) processes and automation. * Develop and maintain technical documentation. * Participate in Agile development and engineering activities.
