This position requires strong analytical skills, experience with Java frameworks, and the ability to work with complex, enterprise-level applications., * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution. * 4 years of experience in software development using Java technologies, including: + Core Java + Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot + REST APIs + Apache Struts + Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) + Other Java EE design patterns * 4 years of experience working with relational databases such as Oracle Database or Microsoft SQL Server. * 4 years of experience using version control systems such as Git. * 4 years of experience troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * 4 years of experience managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines, and producing high-quality work in dynamic environments. * 4 years of experience demonstrating strong attention to detail and organizational skills. * 2 years of experience working with Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting (Bourne/Korn shell). * Availability to support code deployments and application support activities during evenings or weekends as needed. Preferred Experience: * 4 years of experience using GoAnywhere MFT. * 4 years of experience with databases, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server. * 4 years of experience using Azure DevOps or other distributed version control and CI/CD tools. * 4 years of experience supporting application modernization or migration initiatives. * 4 years of experience working in regulated industries such as government, healthcare, or oil and gas. * 4 years of experience with service-oriented architecture (SOA), microservices, and RESTful APIs (primarily as a consumer). * 4 years of experience working with PDF generation or manipulation tools such as iText. ## Description The Java Developer supports application analysis, code review, and modernization initiatives by analyzing existing Java-based systems and translating technical functionality into clear business requirements.
