This role will develop and implement automated test solutions, lead complex hardware/software integration and troubleshooting activities, analyze test data, and support product transition from engineering into manufacturing. The ideal candidate combines strong hands-on test engineering experience with software-based test automation and is comfortable working across hardware, firmware, software, instrumentation, and automated test equipment (ATE). This individual will also provide technical leadership and mentoring while helping advance standardized, reusable, and data-driven test capabilities across programs. This position offers flexible work arrangements, including onsite or hybrid work options, as well as alternative work schedules such as 9/80 (every other Friday off) or 4/10 (four 10-hour workdays per week), based on role and business needs. Employees must live within commuting distance of the facility. Job Responsibilities Job Responsibilities Develop test strategies, acceptance criteria, test plans, procedures, test cases, and test reports for complex RF-centric products and systems. Develop, integrate, and maintain automated test solutions and ATE supporting engineering development, integration, verification, and production. Develop automated test software using Python, LabVIEW, and other applicable test automation environments. Architect and implement reusable test software, instrument-control capabilities, hardware abstraction, and common test frameworks. Interface with lab instrumentation including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, power meters, oscilloscopes, and other RF/electronic test equipment. Lead product and system integration, verification and validation, acceptance testing, and regression testing activities. Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of complex test and integration issues across hardware, firmware, software, instrumentation, fixtures, and automated test systems. Analyze test data to identify trends, anomalies, failure mechanisms, and opportunities to improve product and test performance. Work with development teams to convert initial manual test methods into robust, repeatable automated test solutions. Develop and maintain requirements-to-test traceability and associated test artifacts. Support development and implementation of test fixtures, interfaces, and engineering test stations. Lead transition of test solutions from engineering development into manufacturing, including test procedure walkthroughs, training, troubleshooting, and production support. Collaborate with RF, Digital/FPGA, Embedded Software, Systems, Manufacturing, and Program teams to improve product testability and resolve technical issues. Identify and implement opportunities to improve test efficiency, reuse, reliability, throughput, and maintainability through automation and continuous improvement. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and guidance to junior engineers and other technical personnel. Communicate test status, technical risks, results, and recommendations to engineering leadership, program management, customers, and other stakeholders.
