## About the Role

* 35 years of software engineering experience (backend-focused preferred)
 * Strong experience with C# and .NET
 * Experience building APIs and microservices architectures
 * Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL)

 * Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Azure)

 * Front-end experience (React, JavaScript/TypeScript)
 * Experience working with large-scale data or analytics platforms, * Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)

## Description

Job Summary:Securiport is hiring a Software Engineer (35 years experience) to build scalable, high-impact systems supporting global border security and threat detection.

In this role, youll develop C#/.NET backend services, APIs, and microservices that power real-time data processing and analytics platforms. Youll work closely with senior engineers and DevOps teams in an Agile environment, contributing to systems that are secure, distributed, and performance-driven.

This is an ideal opportunity for an engineer looking to deepen expertise in backend development, cloud technologies, and distributed systems while working on mission-critical applications.

What Youll Do

 * Design, build, and maintain .NET (C#) applications, APIs (REST/gRPC), and microservices
 * Work with SQL Server/MySQL for data modeling, queries, and optimization
 * Contribute to distributed systems and asynchronous processing workflows
 * Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver features end-to-end (design deployment)
 * Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality software
 * Support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and DevOps best practices
 * Containerize applications using Docker (Kubernetes exposure is a plus)
