You will design, develop, and maintain automation tools, frameworks, and test infrastructure that increase test efficiency, coverage, and reliability while collaborating closely with development and manual test teams in an Agile Scrum environment. Responsibilities + Develop and maintain software tools and automation features that support automated testing, following established engineering best practices. + Design, develop, and maintain test libraries that interface with electronic control units (ECUs), test management systems, and defect tracking systems. + Develop and maintain automation scripts that convert manual test cases into automated tests. + Create and maintain automation configurations and execution pipelines for test collateral and tools. + Collaborate with development teams and manual test teams to understand testing requirements and implement the required tools and test scripts. + Participate in code reviews to ensure software quality, identify regressions, and maintain alignment with team coding standards. + Identify opportunities to improve existing tools, frameworks, and processes, and propose innovative approaches to unresolved testing challenges. + Contribute to team deliverables by actively participating in Agile Scrum development sprints and related ceremonies. + Support the ongoing transition to higher levels of automation within the testing organization by enhancing and scaling existing solutions., This role supports a team focused on testing automotive infotainment systems within an office environment that includes multiple labs.
