* Proven experience working with Databricks in a production environment.
 * Strong knowledge of:
 * Apache Spark
 * Delta Lake
 * Unity Catalog (preferred)
 * Python
 * SQL
 * Experience applying software engineering best practices, including:
 * Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
 * Git version control
 * CI/CD pipelines
 * Exposure to cloud environments such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
 * Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for building scalable data solutions.
 * Fluent Dutch language skills (spoken and written) are essential.

## Description

* Design, build and maintain scalable data platforms using Databricks.
 * Develop robust data pipelines that ingest and process data from multiple operational and enterprise systems.
 * Build and optimise data solutions using Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
 * Ensure data is reliable, accessible, and suitable for analytics, machine learning, and AI applications.
 * Contribute to platform architecture decisions and technology best practices.
 * Implement software engineering principles within data environments, including testing, version control, and CI/CD.
 * Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-value data products that support long-term business objectives.
 * Explore and adopt emerging AI-driven engineering capabilities that improve development efficiency and platform performance.
