## About the Role

* Linux-based application operations and deployment.
 * Strong Python development skills with Django.
 * Experience with SQL and enterprise databases (Oracle and Trino preferred).
 * Experience with background processing and caching technologies. Eg. (Celery and Redis.)
 * Web application development experience using JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
 * Experience with Git-based development and CI/CD workflows.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, especially in multi-system environments.
 * Excellent communication skills for coordinating environment readiness, issues, and dependencies.

Nice to have

 * NGINX/Gunicorn administration.
 * REST API design and system integrations.
 * Authentication and authorization experience (SSO, RBAC).

## Description

* Act as the primary point of contact for an application which manages risk and control data, executes controls, and reports results.
 * Plan and manage throughout the application lifecycle, bridging the gap between business stakeholders, development teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors.
 * Ensure that applications meet business requirements, comply with organizational standards, and deliver reliable services to end users.
 * Ensure that all environments follow internal security guidelines, audit requirements, and industry standards.
 * Design, develop, and maintain Python-based applications and services.
 * Take end-to-end ownership of assigned applications.
 * Manage application lifecycle, including enhancements, upgrades, and decommissioning.
 * Ensure application availability, performance, security, and compliance.
