## About the Role

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 * Strong commercial experience with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery and related cloud services
 * Hands-on expertise with dbt, including testing, documentation, and data modelling
 * Advanced SQL skills with experience optimising queries and building analytical datasets
 * Strong Python skills for data extraction, automation, and orchestration
 * Experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using BI tools such as Looker Studio, Metabase, or similar
 * Familiarity with Git, version control, and modern engineering practices
 * Ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders
 * Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of projects from inception to delivery

## Description

The Analytics Engineer will:

 * Design, build, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from source systems through to analytics-ready datasets
 * Develop scalable and well-documented transformation pipelines using dbt and BigQuery
 * Write and maintaining Python-based data ingestion and automation processes
 * Create dashboards, reports, and KPI frameworks to support commercial, marketing, and product teams
 * Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions
 * Monitor data quality and identifying opportunities to improve platform performance and scalability
 * Support the adoption of self-service analytics across the organisation
