Work model Hybrid (Sheffield/remote) or remotely UK-wide or within rest of Europe. ## Description In this role you will be joining a team of technical professionals supporting a large-scale z/OS systems platform. This position requires an experienced systems programmer supporting the z/OS Mainframe Network environment. Responsibilities include configuring and maintaining the integrity and data/IP security of the Mainframe's host communication subsystems and associated program products. Your responsibilities will include: * Being part of a multi-functional team, supporting IBM mainframe networks and transmissions products and infrastructure. * Participation in support rota providing 24x7 cover. * Perform TCPIP Port Reserves (Additions, Deletions, Changes) Perform VTAM updates (Additions, Deletions, Changes) * Manage OSA Adapters in a complex mainframe environment * Perform VTAM PU/LU updates (Additions, Deletions, Changes) including Enterprise Extenders (EE) * Implement AT-TLS rules (digital certificate management).
