Even better if * Prior experience in a regulated environment (GxP, ISO 27001, medical devices, or clinical trials). * Familiarity with computerised system validation (CSV) concepts. * Exposure to MCP, agentic automation patterns, or workflow tooling. * Understanding of information security fundamentals (access control, data classification, least privilege). ## Description As we scale beyond Series B, we are building the operational and engineering backbone required to deliver at pace, without compromising on scientific rigour or regulatory compliance. We are therefore looking for an outstanding Integration and Automation Engineer to implement scalable and automated processes to improve our efficiency. Qureight runs on a small number of critical internal systems - Box, Zendesk, JIRA, HiBob, and Pipedrive. These are currently configured and connected largely by hand. The Integration and Automation Engineer will own Qureight's connective tissue: automating, integrating, and extending these platforms so that the Clinical Operations, Quality & Regulatory Affairs, People, and Finance teams spend less time on manual processes and can focus on their core work. As several of these systems hold or track GxP-relevant records, i.e. trial imaging in Box and validated change history in JIRA, this is not "citizen developer" tinkering. Every automation that touches a regulated system is built, reviewed, and validated to the same standard as product code. The role sits at the intersection of business enablement and engineering discipline and is expected to look after both. What you will do The Integration and Automation Engineer will provide outstanding automation and integration capabilities across Qureight, including: * Box automation and AI. Design and build Box automations; use Box AI for metadata extraction, classification, and manipulation. * Customer support tooling. Configure Zendesk AI features (knowledge base, FAQs, agentic/assisted chat) to help the Clinical Operations team deliver faster, more consistent customer support. * Cross-system integration. Build and maintain integrations across Box, JIRA, HiBob and other platforms, including MCP-based and Claude Code-driven automations to remove manual handoffs between teams. * GxP-aware delivery. Ensure every automation touching a validated or GxP-relevant system is version-controlled, peer-reviewed, documented, and validated in line with Qureight's ISMS and Management of Software Policy before it goes live. * Requirements and prioritisation. Work directly with all internal departments to identify high-value automation opportunities, size them, and prioritise against risk and effort. * Operate and maintain. Own the automations end-to-end: monitoring, error handling, documentation, and change management; no "build and abandon". ## Related Videos - [Improving quality with Agentic AI with Rovo Dev and Xray](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2005-improving-quality-with-agentic-ai-with-rovo-dev-and-xray) - [The Software Engineer 2030: From Coder To AI Orchestrator? - Patrick Schnell](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1825-the-software-engineer-2030-from-coder-to-ai-orchestrator-patrick-schnell) - [Blueprints for Success: Steering a Global Data & AI Architecture](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1577-blueprints-for-success-steering-a-global-data-ai-architecture) - [How a Small Team Shrank a Microsoft Monorepo by 94%](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1236-how-a-small-team-shrank-a-microsoft-monorepo-by-94) - [Agentic employees in world's most downloaded FinTech app](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100123-agentic-employees-in-world-s-most-downloaded-fintech-app) - [Collaboration Quantified: Lessons from Open Source Developer Networks](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1422-collaboration-quantified-lessons-from-open-source-developer-networks) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [Dev Digest 121 - AI goes offline](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/456-dev-digest-121-ai-goes-offline) - [The Prompt Engineer ✍️](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/216-the-prompt-engineer) - [How to Become an AI Engineer](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/331-how-to-become-an-ai-engineer) - [Why Upskilling And Reskilling is Important For Developers](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/428-why-upskilling-and-reskilling-is-important-for-developers) - [13 AI Tools You Have to Try](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/219-13-ai-tools-you-have-to-try)
