## About the Role

* A bachelor's degree in computer science, a completed vocational training program as an IT systems technician, or several years of relevant professional experience in software development
 * Several years of hands-on experience developing with C# and .NET Core
 * Practical experience developing cloud-native architectures on Microsoft Azure (Functions, Queues)
 * In-depth knowledge of working with REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven systems
 * Experience with relational databases
 * Basic understanding of CRM systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Customer Insights)
 * Strong commitment to quality in clean code, automated testing, and well-written technical documentation
 * Enjoyment of agile teamwork (Scrum) and fluency in German and English

## Description

As a Software Engineer, you'll help shape the cloud-based future of our fundraising department and translate its requirements into technical solutions. You'll design and implement decoupled, event-driven microservices and integrate our CRM (MS Dynamics 365) and Customer Insights with external systems. Together with an interdisciplinary Scrum team, you'll drive the expansion of scalable cloud capabilities., As a team member, you'll support our projects on-site-without actually being on-site. In this role, you'll take on the following responsibilities:

 * You'll develop asynchronous serverless microservices using Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus Queues
 * You'll integrate Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Customer Insights with external platforms
 * You'll develop customizations and interfaces for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Customer Insights to support complex administrative processes, marketing workflows, and segmentations
 * You'll further develop our automated unit and integration tests to ensure high system stability
 * You analyze performance bottlenecks and implement measures to ensure high system availability
 * You develop clean, maintainable code (especially in C#) and conduct regular code reviews
 * You will document interfaces, components, and key architectural decisions in a clear and up-to-date manner
 * As part of an agile team, you will work closely with the Product Owner, architects, and database specialists, and maintain regular communication with key users and stakeholders
